The Tips and Tools for Tough Times Workshop has been designed for agricultural industry representatives to gain a better understanding of the available mental health resources for individuals, families, staff, and community members. The workshop will also connect participants to available mental health resources.
Our guest speakers
Elizabeth McNaughton of ‘Disastrous.’
Elizabeth McNaughton of ‘Disastrous.’ will lead the workshop as the key facilitator presenting collaborative activities including the use of ‘Cards for Calamity’. Elizabeth helps industry stakeholders to improve their skills in navigating natural disasters and other tough times.
Evelyn Beaumont-Tyson
Evelyn Beaumont-Tyson will present ‘Birdie’s Tree’, which is an award-winning set of storybooks, videos, and resources created by the Queensland Centre for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health (QCPIMH), to help children and families going through natural disasters and disruptive events.
