About Darcy Franklin from ExxonMobil’s Global Trading organisation
Part of ExxonMobil’s Global Trading organization, Darcy is responsible for EM’s biofuel trading activities in Australia, including ethanol and biodiesel, as well as petroleum product trading covering the full refined product slate. He works closely with EM’s global and regional logistics, shipping and commercial teams, as well as a diverse network of suppliers and customers, ensuring reliable product supply across Australia’s diverse geography. Prior to his current position, Darcy has significant experience across commercial, retail, project and economics roles in ExxonMobil’s businesses in Australia, NZ and Pacific Islands – as well as prior management consulting roles in the natural resources and industrial sectors, covering global and regional agriculture, manufacturing and mining companies. Darcy originally hails from country Victoria, growing up in sheep and cropping country in the Western District. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Business and post-graduate qualifications in project management. ExxonMobil, one of the world’s largest publicly traded energy providers and chemical manufacturers, develops and applies next-generation technologies to help safely and responsibly meet the world’s growing needs for energy and high-quality chemical products.
