QFF’s Women in Farm Business workshops kicked off to a great start in Mareeba last week which hosted farming women from a range of industries including agriculture, dairy and cane.
The workshop helped to encourage the next generation of farm leaders and support women stepping into wider leadership roles by providing resources and support services.
See below a testimonial from workshop participant Penny Curnow of Vortex insect control systems
“The workshop was so much more than I expected! The design and the delivery was excellent, the content was so different to the normal type of Leadership program. The graphics that you have created really assisted in creating a fabulous vision of both past, present and future states, it was a wonderful weave of information and a fabulous wholistic approach to what is sometimes a difficult subject matter. Your facilitation techniques allowed such deep, honest conversation within the group which lead to the outcome that we were all thrilled with.
“Thanks again for the opportunity to attend the workshop in Mareeba and I would also like to thank the sponsors that assisted with putting the program together for our benefit.”
