1. Check your device is 4G compatible – text ‘3’ to 3498
2. If it is compatible, check your software is updated and network settings are correct, then set your network to automatic.
3. If your device isn’t compatible, you can buy one using the My Telstra App, from the Telstra website or by calling 132200.
4. In a regional, rural or remote area? Choose a Bluetick device and consider getting coverage extension devices for home, office or vehicle. Remember, fewer bars of coverage on your new phone doesn’t mean less service – there are no 4G standards for signal bars.
5. Already have a Telstra Go Repeater or Cel-Fi Go? Make sure it’s configured correctly to boost 4G signal.
6. Check your location on our coverage maps. Telstra 4G coverage will be equivalent to sites currently covered by 3G on our maps, but remember that these maps are a guide only.
