With a background in agricultural research focusing on carbon sequestration and nitrogen mineralisation in broad-acre and sugarcane systems, Gabrielle brings a deep understanding of the industry to the role of Policy Officer. Her experience in working with farmers and external research institutions to guide projects that would benefit the broader industry directly informs her work with both QFF members and industry bodies.
The role of Policy Officer considers all areas of policy in relation to the Queensland Farmers’ Federation members and committees, critically analysing and synthesizing information from government and working with QFF members to respond and create positions to any industry policy that may impact them.
Gabrielle plays a key role in working with QFF members to support, communicate and advocate the broader agricultural sector’s needs in Queensland.
