The International Specialised Skills Institute (ISS Institute) is offering two international Agribusiness Fellowships in the amount of $10,000 each.
These fellowships will provide an opportunity for individuals working within the area of agribusiness to enhance their current skills through an international applied research program.
The ISS Institute is seeking applicants who are especially interested in exploring new and leading practice, innovation and leadership opportunities in the agribusiness sector, which includes agriculture, horticulture, conservation and land management industries.
Funded by the former Food and Agribusiness Solutions organisation, these Fellowships are aimed at assisting members of the industry to seek potential growth and innovation opportunities.
Applications close at 4:00pm on Friday, 28 April.

- Who can apply for an Agribusiness Fellowship?
Individuals working within Australian agribusiness over the age of 18 can apply. Applicants can be located anywhere in Australia.
- What does an Agribusiness Fellowship involve?
The successful supplicant must use their Fellowship payment to undertake applied international research overseas which will last between two and four weeks and may include meeting knowledgeable leaders, conducting interviews, observation, immersion in workplaces, undertaking specialised training or attending specialist conferences.
As part of the Fellowship, the successful applicant will prepare a report to document their findings and recommendations for industry enhancement in Australia. The ISS Institute will assist with the editing, design and publication of this report.

As part of the application process, applicants need to send their completed Fellowship Application Form, a copy of their Curriculum Vitae, 2 x Letters of Support and 1 x Employer Endorsement Letter (unless self-employed) to applications@issinstitute.org.au by 4pm on Friday, 28, April.
- How are Fellowship applications assessed?
Each application will be evaluated by agribusiness experts and ISS Institute team members. Shortlisted applicants will then be interviewed by a Selection Panel compromising an industry representative and members of ISS Institute’s team. Interviews may be conducted in person or by tele-conference or video-conference.
