Tracy Artiach

Tracy Artiach, a member of ICAA, has over 40 years experience in the field of accounting and finance having worked across several sectors including banking, NFP sector, SMEs, professional service and tertiary education. Her work experience includes time at the ANZ Bank, KPMG Australia, Centacare, and Manbulloo Mangoes. Having been involved in accounting at all levels from end-to-end payable, receivables and payroll processing to full preparation of general purposes and special purpose financial statements, budgets, cashflow, financial analysis, and strategic policy development and direction.

Tracy held research and teaching positions at several of Queensland Universities (JCU, USQ, UQ and QUT). Tracy holds an Honours Degree in Accounting (USQ) and a PhD in Accounting from the University of Queensland. During her time in the university sector, Tracy received awards for teaching excellence, co-authored an advanced accounting textbook, successfully published nine peer reviewed articles in Australian and International Accounting Journals, and supervised three PhD students and eight Commerce Honours Students.

Having grown up on farms and hailing from Far North Queensland, Tracy shares a deep appreciation for agriculture and delights in the opportunity to support the sector in a meaningful way through the role Queensland Farmers’ Federation plays in advocating for its members.
