Andres is an Agricultural, Irrigation and Water Resources Engineer with over 25 years of professional experience in a variety of water resources roles and projects in the public and private sectors. He is passionate about sustainable agriculture and water resources as well as about Capacity Development and extension. Andres has worked in irrigation efficiency projects for over 15 years in Queensland, in training throughout Australia and internationally in South and Central America, the United States, the Caribbean, New Zealand, Indonesia and the subcontinent.
Andres is supporting the Queensland Business Energy Saving and Transformation—Agriculture (QBEST Ag) project, where he’s liaising with QFF member industries to assist small-to-medium-sized agricultural businesses to reduce electricity costs through sharing information and practical advice on efficient energy use.
