- Have your say on the products you’d like to see added to the Minister for the Environment’s product stewardship priority list to help identify priority products and materials most in need of product stewardship action. - Nature Refuge Landholder Grants are available to assist landholders to undertake projects that will protect and enhance the significant natural values of their nature refuge, as outlined in their conservation agreement. Applications close 6 December, 2021. More information HERE.
- Queensland’s agriculture gross value of production has grown for the third consecutive year. In 2021–22, the total value of Queensland’s primary industry commodities is forecast to be $20.66 billion, which is 8 per cent more than for 2020–21 and 8 per cent greater than the average for the past five years. - Healthy Land and Water is hosting free Drought and Climate Adaptation workshops in Boonah, Gatton, Toogoolawah and Lowood this month. The workshops will provide a wide range of information, practical advice, and tools to help inform decision making and planning. Register HERE.
- Funding is available through Women & Leadership Australia to support the development of female leaders across Australia’s agriculture industry. The initiative is providing women with partial scholarships to participate in leadership development courses. Apply now HERE.
