- With an increase in resource activity in recent years, and demands on agriculture increasing, agriculture land must be treated as the precious and irreplaceable commodity that it is, as major resources projects are considered, approved and developed. - According to the latest ABARES report, 70% of farmers are reducing reliance on pesticides and optimising fertiliser use, 64% of farmers are improving water retention and 58% of farms have a source of off farm income.
