- QFF member eastAUSmilk has strongly encouraged dairy farmers to speak with their processors following a disappointing 5c/L drop in the farmgate milk price announced by Lactalis last week. QFF released a joint statement with eastAUSmilk encouraging consumers to buy local produce and vote with their wallets. This follows Coles’ recent proposed acquisition of two dairy processing plants from Saputo. QFF and EastAUSmilk have made submissions to the ACCC raising concerns for the impact on the dairy industry. Read more here.
