4. QFF has partnered with ErgonEnergy & Energex to offer farmers belonging to any of QFF’s 20 industry members a 50 per cent co-contribution a maximum of $500 to match the funds of installing up to 10 rotamarkers on their properties. More info here:

6. Consultation has opened on an AgTech Roadmap for Queensland to drive digital and technological transformation of Queensland’s agriculture sector. The roadmap will be created through collaboration and input from stakeholders across the AgTech network, including industry, business, research organisations and government. Have your say here
7. Queensland is leading the way by supporting drought preparedness activities for a broader range of primary producers. 8. QRIDA have extended the closure dates for Disaster Assistance Grants. The new dates are:
– 5 December 2022 for the SEQ Rainfall and Flooding grants
– 28 October 2022 Ex-tropical cyclone Seth 7-10 January 2022

9. The Energy Savers team would like to speak to 70 farmers from across Queensland and New South Wales in a 30-minute interview with a researcher. To encourage more farmers to get involved, they are offering every farmer who gets involved a $40 gift card and, if they do so before the end of May, they’ll go into a draw to win one of two $500 energy bill payments! All they need to do is fill out the survey and upload a recent energy bill to get the ball rolling. Farms can call Dr Stephen Snow on 0417 079 392 if they would like to start the interview straight away!
10. The Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) is predicting showers and thunderstorms to develop across a large section of the state over the next few days. Keep up to date with weather warnings via BoM and remember, if it’s flooded, forget it!
