- State land rent will be deferred for grazing and primary production lessees across 45 fully and partly drought declared local government areas for the 2021-21 financial year. While almost 15,000 drought affected Queensland farmers will save up to $2.2 million in annual water licence fees over the next two years. Details HERE.
- The National Red Imported Fire Ant Eradication Program is calling on residents in the Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim and parts of Ipswich to be on the lookout for any remaining fire ants after three years of intensive treatment. You can report suspicious ants at HERE or by calling 13 25 23.
