- The Northern Basin Review (NBR) is one step closer to implementation after the Australian Senate approved the Water Amendment Bill 2018, allowing the Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources to reintroduce amendments to the Basin Plan and implement the recommendations of the NBR. - The Australian Government has announced an additional $137 million to strengthen Australia’s biosecurity capacity. The Regional Investment Corporation (RIC) is now open for business and Aussies have the chance to choose Aussie produce with new Country of Origin Labelling laws now in force.
- Grants of up to $100,000 are on the table for eligible food businesses that are ready to export their produce overseas as part of the Growing Queensland’s Food Exports grants program, applications are now open. More information HERE.
