- The Australian sugarcane industry has released its first whole-of-industry vision and roadmap ‘Sugar Plus’. Industry will now set up working groups to implement it. - QFF has consulted extensively with industry to learn more about existing and emerging workforce issues. The findings have informed the 5-year strategy released last week – the Queensland Agriculture Industry Workforce Plan 2022-2027. - Nominations for the 2022 Reef Champion Awards have been extended until 19 August. The extension gives outstanding land managers, extension officers, organisations and members of the community working to reduce their impact on the Great Barrier Reef further time to apply for the awards.
